Anginn OS · starting an install
Putting a salon on its own software.
Set up with you, today
An install is not a signup. It is a copy of the software standing on your server, with your branches, your prices and your people in it — and the keys handed over.
It takes an afternoon, and it is done with you — the self-serve installer is still being built, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What follows is the whole of it: what to have ready, what happens in what order, who does which part, and what it costs.
Before the day
Six things to have ready
None of it is paperwork. It is the things only you know, and the install cannot be finished without them.
The salon's name
As it should print at the top of a bill, and the city it trades in. If there is a GST registration, that number too — it sits on the bill, not in a settings page nobody opens.
One Google account
The owner's. It becomes the first administrator and the way you sign in from then on. There are no passwords in Anginn OS to forget, to write on a sticky note by the till, or to pass around the floor.
How many branches
One branch is free, permanently. More than one is quoted before anything is built, priced by the number of branches and paid once. Nothing is charged automatically and nothing is charged before you have seen the software.
The service list
Your services and their prices, in whatever shape you already keep them — a menu card, a spreadsheet, a photo of the price board on the wall. It gets loaded for you. You should not spend your first evening typing.
Who works there
Names and roles: who is on reception, who is behind a chair. Roles decide what each person can see, and that boundary is enforced in the software rather than by trust.
A WhatsApp Business number
Optional, and it can wait. Confirmations, reminders and bill links go out from the salon's own number when it is connected — never from ours.
Then the afternoon itself, in the order it happens.
How an install goes
The server
Anginn OS runs on a server the salon owns the account for. You can bring one you already rent, or we will tell you exactly what to take and what it will cost you each month — a bill that goes to you, from your provider, and never through us.
The instance is built
Your install goes up on that server with its own database. Nothing is shared with another salon. From this moment the data is on your machine and stays there.
You sign in
The owner signs in with the Google account, becomes the administrator, and the branch, the services and the staff are loaded in with you on a call so that you can see where everything landed.
The first real bill
You bill a live client the same day, on your own instance, with your own prices — the last check that reception can work the software without anyone standing behind them.
It is yours
Backups run from your server and are held by you. Updates are offered, not pushed onto you overnight. If you ever want to stop, you keep the database, because it never left your side.
Where the product is today
Why there is no “create my salon” button here yet
An install can be built from this page one day: you would type the salon's name, choose how many branches, sign in with Google, and watch your own instance come up. Most of that already exists. The last stretch — provisioning a server and bringing an instance up complete, with nobody's hands on it — does not, and until it does there will be no button here that says it does.
So the install is done with you, on a call, in an afternoon. Which for a first salon is arguably the better version anyway: somebody who has done it before is watching while your first real bill goes through.
When the launcher is ready, the action on this page changes and this section is replaced by the form. Nothing else about the page will need to move — the shape of it was designed for the button that is coming.
Start one now, the way it works today
Tell us the salon's name, the city and how many branches. We will come back with what the server will cost you, what the software will cost you — nothing, if you are one branch — and a time to do it.
What starting costs
The software
Nothing, for one branch, permanently. More than one branch is quoted first and paid once — never monthly, and never a percentage of what the salon takes.
The install itself
No setup fee. The afternoon is part of the product, not a line on an invoice.
The server
Rented in your name from a provider you choose, billed to you monthly by them. We will tell you what to take and roughly what it will run to before you commit to anything.
WhatsApp messages
Charged by WhatsApp against the salon's own Business account, at their published rates. Optional — the software works without it, and nothing is sent from our number.
ANGINN TECHNOLOGIES quotes everything before anything is installed, in writing, including the parts that are not ours to charge for.
Bring your price list and one afternoon
Tell us how the salon runs today. We will tell you what the install needs, what it will cost you, and honestly whether the software suits you — including when it does not.
